Environment Preparation

  • Provide aromatherapy.

  • Allow the students to sit comfortably.
  • Provide some guidance at the beginning, but remain most of the time in silence for inner exploration.

Choosing the Final Stance

  • Allow the students to choose a comfortable final resting posture:
    • Body
    • Reclined Butterfly Pose
    • Supported Child Pose
    • Legs on the wall

Use of accessories

  • Inform students that they can use any accessories to increase comfort.
  • Suggest using cushions, blankets or blocks.

Final Meditation

  • Consider including a final meditation.
  • If you started the lesson with meditation, revisit it to integrate the practice and promote reflection.
