Hatha Yoga
Yoga to End the Day
Carla's note
Nine minutes of seated Hatha Yoga, with no significant muscular effort. It begins with a whole-body stretch and shoulder mobility, continues with twists, which work the spine in rotation, and a seated forward bend, which stretches the posterior chain. It ends with breath observation, the hands on the abdomen and chest, a phase that can be extended and that eases the transition to rest. The movements keep a small range. Suited to the time before dinner or before bed.Carla Gonçalves

About Hatha Yoga
Hatha holds the poses for longer, with attention to alignment and breath. It is the foundation of everything else: less rhythm, more listening.
