Pranayama
Pranayama Surya & Pranayama Chandra
Carla's note
Two single-nostril pranayamas in five minutes, seated, with Chin Mudra. In Surya Bhedana you breathe in through the right nostril and out through the left, a technique traditionally associated with activation. In Chandra Bhedana the direction is reversed, breathing in through the left and out through the right, with a calming effect. The breath stays slow and effortless. Surya Bhedana suits the morning and Chandra Bhedana the evening.Carla Gonçalves
